We are pleased to present to market this 1974 MGB 1950cc Ex Rob Huff race car. Finished in red white hardtop and roundels. Being owned and race by Rob Huff in the early to mid-2000's, it has had numerous class wins, and fastest laps in the BCV8 Championship. Since then, the car has been campaigned in the BCV8 series, Equipe 70's and the Classic Sports Car Club.

This car is a great starter car for anyone looking to get in to historic racing.

Engine and gearbox were rebuilt in 2023 and have done very little since. It is fitted with a 1950cc engine, SCCR gearbox and L.S.D Diff 4.1, electric water pump and alloy radiator.

For 2026 it will require a fire system service, however seatbelts are in date until the end of 2028.

David, Just to let you know that since you fitted the 1950 Fast Road Stage 2 engine my roadster has been utterly transformed. The throttle response is brilliant and coupled with that uprated front roll bar the cornering is much more assured. Normally I put her away at this time of year but no i'm having too much fun right now. Thank you for all the advice and the whole process from start to finish was faultless. Best Regards 0

I had the engine out on its first event last weekend. Caledonian rally one day in Kielder forests, second day in the Scottish borders. Only 3 1300 entered so we were amalgamated with 1600. We got a strong result 3rd in class 32nd overall from 75 starters, 1st 1300. I didn't go much above 5000 as still only managed to get about 500 miles on it.

I can already feel the difference in performance with just the basic tune, & it's nice not to look at that marked up windscreen. Overdrive was sluggish and now engages almost instantly, car is starting very easily, also it seems to be running better overall. Looks like the new wiring looms made a lot of difference. I replaced my rocker cover with the one from Oselli. Order placed with Claire's advice, it was delivered to me with moderate shipping costs. With its glued cork seal, it enhances the engine of my MGA. I am completely satisfied with my purchase.
